                                       WELCOME TO LION'S CLASS PAGE

We are a Year 3 and 4 class made up of 27 fantastic children.

Mrs Bradley and Mrs Blyth are our class teachers and Mrs Griffiths is our teaching assistant!

Mrs Bradley teaches Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday

Mrs Blyth  teaches Thursday and Friday.

Mrs Griffiths is with us Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday mornings.

On Monday afternoons have French with Madame Twydell.

We have our P.E lessons on Tuesday and Thursday.

In the Autumn  we learnt about the Anglo Saxons.

In the Spring Term we learnt about the rainforest and the animals which inhabit them.

We created an exciting power point in ICT on an animal of the rainforest!

We learnt a fun song about the rainforest called 'Layers in the Rainforest'.  It includes the layers of the rainforest, the animals and fun facts!

Have a listen to this brilliant song

Click here to listen to the song and see what you can learn about the rainforest!

The Summer Term is a really busy time.

Our Big Topic this term has been about ROBOTS

We have been learning all about plants in science and have been creating our own investigations.

In English we have been reading about the Iron Man and have created our own Iron Man Stories.

In D and T we have made our own junk robots  using pneumatics. smiley

At the moment, Key Stage 2 are working towards their end of year production. Our musical this year is called Dragon. It is all about food chains and how we need to look after it!

Mrs Turner has put the music for the musical onto Tiger's Class page for everyone to listen to. Try to learn the words as quickly as you can because then you can focus on our fun actions.

We are having a great time taking part in Forest Schools. We get to make amazing dens, go pond dipping, do whittling.

We all look forward to sitting down and having hot chocolate.  We all have fun forest school names.

Here are some of the models we have made at home. Can you spot the cuddly robots?

Make a difference day talent show

To finish our MADD day we iced cakes and made a pledge to make the world a better place.

We also thought of ways that we could be champions from football players to being better readers.
