French - Madame Twydell teaches French on Monday afternoons each week.
Science Week The children enjoyed the animal petting farm. They were able to find out about life on a farm and how to look after animals. They were able to stoke and have a close up experience with the animals.
Sublime Science taught the children how to make 'slime' and sherbet. They were able to experience many jaw-dropping experiments which were a great success.
Forest School The children have loved their 'Forest School' experience. They have had the opportunity to make various dens, do pond dipping and climb trees. They have made 'story sticks' to inspire them to write an adventure story and used natural objects to make a picture.
Grafham Water Residential Trip 2-3 November 2015
Year 4 had a very successful trip to Grafham Water. They were all a credit to the school, well-behaved, well-mannered and very enthusiastic, even in the rain!
They had the opportunity of trying out various activities including archery, the Grafham Challenge (in the dark!), orienteering in a speed boat, fossil-searching, crate-stacking and using the low ropes.
