Our spring term topic overview can be found here

This term we are loving our 'It's a cool world' topic!

It has been fascinating learning about the polar regions. We are all quite expert now at explaining how animals are adapted to survive in such a freezing environment.

We are particularly amazed at the magnificent Emperor Penguins in Antarctica!

After half term, we'll be learning about how Sir Ernest Shackleton's quest to get across Antarctica nearly ended in disaster!

Autumn Term

This term our topic is called 'Let's go on an adventure...' and what an exciting time we are having!

We had some great adventures hunting outside, and a great adventure in London finding out about some of the special landmarks and historical places in our capital city.

To add to the excitement, we then travelled back in time to 1666 and found London to be a very different place - especially after the night Thomas Farriner forgot to put the fire in his oven out on Pudding Lane...

London's burning, London's burning!

London's burning, London's burning! 1
London's burning, London's burning! 2
